InstantEvent.Photos was born out of a lifelong passion for capturing genuine moments and a deep appreciation for the technical craft behind a perfect image. My journey started over twenty years ago in the era of traditional film and darkroom processing. As technology evolved, so did I—combining my background in professional imaging with decades of experience as an IT and systems engineer.

I realized that event photography didn't have to be slow, intrusive, or complicated. By merging high-end photography with custom, secure IT infrastructure, I wanted to create a seamless, professional experience where guests could instantly connect with their photos without sacrificing privacy.

After operating regionally for years, 2026 brought a major milestone. I relocated from Colorado to Ogden, Iowa, to plant deep roots in this community and open a dedicated, physical storefront right here on Walnut Street. What started in a darkroom has grown into a modern, tech-forward photography business.
