Marche Gourmet is a European style deli with Italian, French, Greek and influences. Being in Ojai, we will naturally have gluten-free choices, vegan and vegetarian options and organic produce, fresh sliced deli meats and a great selection of cheeses. Daily specials and fresh baked cookies, quiches, frittatas, and, of course, paninis and sandwhiches.

If you want to open a restaurant in Ojai, you will need to go the Ventura County Environmental Health Department and get their code requirements and also to the city of Ojai for business license. You will also need to go to the Alcoholic Beverage Control if you want a beer/wine or liquor license. There are lots of ways to deal with this, but for big ticket items like catering gigs, we require a 50% deposit and get a credit card number up front.  We put in writing that we expect the balance to be paid at the event and give the client the option of saving the credit card processing fees... (more) There are lots of ways to deal with this, but for big ticket items like catering gigs, we require a 50% deposit and get a credit card number up front.  We put in writing that we expect the balance to be paid at the event and give the client the option of saving the credit card processing fees (about 3.5%) if they pay by cash or check.  Put it in writing that their credit card will be charged for the balance at completion of service if payment is not made by check or cash at the time.  Get the client to sign a copy of the agreement so you are covered.
