Cris’ passion for animals started early in life. Growing up on a farm in Indiana, she learned to raise and care for all types of animals including family pets and livestock. She also learned the countless responsibilities that go along with being an animal owner.

The idea for Carey Pet & Home Care was formed when Cris realized working in an office doing the same thing day after day was just not for her. So, she decided to take her 20+ years of business operations experience and her knowledge and love of animals to start her own pet sitting company. AND, in January 2005 Carey Pet & Home Care was born.
