I started getting in touch with my creative side in 2019 with acrylic painting. I then started learning about jewelry making and I was hooked. I also realized I could incorporate painting into my jewelry pieces, too. I love the creative aspect of of taking wire and stone, wood or glass and creating a wearable piece of art. :)

When I realized all my creativity had begun to take up too much space, I decided it was time to offer my work to the public by starting a business. The name had to mean something to me, and while most can't understand it, "purple air frog" was something whimsical, from childhood, between myself and a dear lifelong friend, who passed from cancer in 2018. I wanted to honor her somehow--hence the name Purple Air Frog Arts. I began selling at my local farmers and artists market in 2021 and am pleased to see my skills continue to improve with time. My wish is that my pieces bring some measure of joy to those that wear them.
