About Us

First of all, I am very excited and humbled to be have the opportunity to serve as an Alignable Alliance Ambassador in the greater Orlando region. Then the Alpha Group is one of my favorite projects, part of our success is how we furnish an advisory group of members from diverse industries, and my 30 years + experience of running my own businesses.

Other then that, I currently live in Florida with my hubby and 3 cats and a dog, we like to paddleboard, hike and do other fun outdoors stuff, and travel a lot!

How We Got Started

I used to be a technical consultant, author (4 books) and trainer (MCSE, MCSA, MCT) in the SMB space, earning top reviews from business clients in major cities around the world. As an executive for a US company, I managed multi-faceted global business development campaigns and earned a reputation for “making it happen”.

In the last 30 years, I launched, failed and succeeded in four of my own businesses. Often other SMB owners asked for strategic and tactical business advice, however, I noticed people did not execute or implemented very slowly. That led me to the path of coaching.

Accredited by the International Authority of Coaching & Mentoring (IAPC&M), a Noble Manhattan Certified Coach Practitioner (business & executive) and a Noble Coach, I now put my knowledge and experience to work helping others succeed building their dream.

(more) I own a brick and mortar that I rented out exactly at my expenses as we couldn’t find but two interested businesses during last year. However, neither of the two applicants had a business plan or ever owned a business before. One of them wanted us to help with the buildout which is an additional expense and if they don’t make it and close within a year or two it doesn’t make sense to rent out as it’s high risk and cost involved. So I am not defending the high priced malls etc. but also see it from a landlord point of view. There are some thing I’d recommend before even trying to negotiate a lease: Have a well written business plan that lays out cash flow projection Detail the marketing plan to show how you are going to generate traffic Show that you have the cash in the bank to pay your own build out and have rent covered for one year Bring your credit rating to show you can get a loan if needed Having said that, It doesn’t matter what the posted rental price is. Everything is negotiable and if your business can show it’s done it’s due diligence (see steps above) you are in a position to negotiate a rate with incremental increases over time as business improves.
