The Life Enrichment Center of Oyster Bay is a community center that provides weekday programming to senior residents in Oyster Bay and surrounding areas, including: Bayville, Brookville, East Norwich, Lattingtown, Locust Valley, Mill Neck, Matinecock, Muttontown, Oyster Bay, Oyster Bay Cove and parts of Syosset.
Center programs include lunch, transportation, engaging social activities, entertainment, health & wellness programs, fitness classes, health screenings, educational classes, and comprehensive social services five days a week, 250 days a year.
We also have a Social Model Day Care program - Day Break that serves memory-impaired and frail seniors. The program offers mind- stimulating activities for the older senior who needs assurance and assistance.
The Life Enrichment Center formally know as Double Day Babcock Senior Center was started by a small group of parishioners from Christ Church who recognized the need to provide services for the elderly population in the community.
