"cash,discount or small gift card" No. In fact it's illegal in my state. That would constitute a paid endorsement and in most cases would be an ethics violation. An honest referral is appreciated and returned provided that I can do so without it looking like I were giving kickbacks or perks. It'a a fast way to kill a good business name. Any realtor who suggests it gets on my list. Referrals should be paid for by good hard honest work and an outstanding reputation based upon past client experiences.
