Angels Bridging Gaps Inc
Angels Bridging Gaps and ABGworks are disability support organizations that are dedicated to providing educational and emotional support, along with helping to develop programs that enrich the lives of our disability community.
All of our good work over the years is made possible because people like you that care enough to volunteer your precious time to support our local disability community. ABG is a 501c3 nonprofit organization supporting ABGworks with the finances to provide all necessary support to enrich the lives of our disability community.
The founder of Angels Bridging Gaps, Jackie Yearby started on her mission to provide support to local families who were dealing with the same red tape that everyone with a special needs child endures. This mission was started in 2009 out of the First Baptist Church in Malabar when her then 10-year-old son needed more support than what the local government could provide. In 2021, Jackie along with her parents, in-laws and friends, started ABGworks to provide support for these young adults who fell through the government cracks. In order to provide support for her mission, she quit her very lucrative job in the community. What started out as a one-person mission with one child, has blossomed into an organization of 20+ members of the disability community. We currently lean on the public who come and teach our community life skills. As a 501c3, Angels Bridging Gaps we are self-funded by members of our local community and sponsorships. We receive NO state funding or federal funding.
