How We Got Started

I started MacRed Designs in 2004 as a side-line, freelance business while teaching digital design at a community college and continued on while when I moved on to a marketing position with a large corporation. Over that time, I had observed a change in how businesses market and promote themselves – companies rely more and more on media consultants. So in 2014, I embraced the ‘trend’ and launched MacRed Designs as a full-time business.

John, The pink/black color scheme is very striking and certainly catches your attention.  I would recommend a reimaging of your logo - perhaps in all white so that it is as striking and blends well with the pink/black.  I would also recommend reorganizing & reprioritizing the "sections".  I... (more) John, The pink/black color scheme is very striking and certainly catches your attention.  I would recommend a reimaging of your logo - perhaps in all white so that it is as striking and blends well with the pink/black.  I would also recommend reorganizing & reprioritizing the "sections".  I would think that on your home page you would put the promotional products above the fold (i.e. very close to the top of the home page) where that is the first thing visitors see - because that is the source of your revenue.  So the "GET IN TOUCH" section, while important, is not as important as catching the attention of you potential customers.  Your call to action structure should be: 1) catch their attention with product images & or sale events THEN 2) let them know how to get in touch with you.  I would also recommend restructuring you navigation menu - prioritizing it in the order in which your customer conversion steps should occur.  All in all, you have a very good start and with a few tweaks will present nicely.  If you would like to discuss some SEO support, please don't hesitate to contact me.  Regards,Robin McDonald - MacRed Designs
