I am all for free speech and not censoring it- except threatening hate speech- but I listened to comments from legislators on both sides of the aisle and felt their concerns were strong enough that a ban on TikTok had sufficient merit.

I voted no, it should not be banned, as I feel the same as far as not censoring our speech and outlets for such, but I am also pretty wary of what it could be used for as far as the Chinese govt being involved. I will have to research it more. I don't use it or most other social media as I prefer the older style of forums for conversing, so it's not as much on my radar as people who do use it frequently.

So you are ok with censoring what you believe is hate speech. Ok, that makes a whole lot of sense. NOT

There is no "except" or "sufficient merit" when it comes to banning freedom of speech.
