I've used email to promote things occasionally as well as Facebook and Instagram.  I am being to feel that emails promoting anything is bothersome to people and uninvited. I get quicker and better response to the others. Social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) seem to attract more attention than a website these days.  But your website will give them a lot more to choose from.  Always tag your website when using social media. Yes.  If they think it is a place they love, then it is. I try to let them personalize it and not give them too much information unless it is similar to what they are saying, like "It looks like a Maine seascape."  Then I just agree. I sell through my website that changes weekly and through the gallery.  I change my wall there monthly.  I believe that offering new things is key. Don't let your offerings get musty.  (more) I sell through my website that changes weekly and through the gallery.  I change my wall there monthly.  I believe that offering new things is key. I don't do business with people who make me anxious or unhappy.  In a creative field it simply doesn't work.  I explain this to them and walk away.  There are others who will love your work and inspire you to create more. I meet clients at their office if they have one. Some like to meet at libraries that have restaurant areas or outside areas.
