If you have the money, spend about a day each week getting more education and using people and resources to make you planning better on days with others can provide services or work without you.

No. As a trial lawyer who has been in court in over a thousand cases, it is much better for me to provide pro bono or reduced fee legal help for v ery good vets and other people, especially when they have been discriminated against or screwed by right wing conservatives and to do all I can to advocate equality, combat global warming, help immigrants, support the Southern Poverty Law Center and stop right wing nuts from preventing access to birth control, education, health care and persecuting immigrants, minorities and gay people or who try to merge evangelical dark ages Christianity and State.
My wife and I and a number of our friends have AARP Medicare and it is the best health insurance for the money in America if you are not a vet. Soon Democrats will make similar Medicare for all available for all after the next election when we have a new president and Trump is indicted

I agree AARP gives good advice about reverse mortgages. The big print give it and the small print takes the advantages away. Many reverse mortgages have small print provisions that require you to live in the home and pay property taxes, homeowners association fees and other bills. You could wind...

I agree AARP gives good advice about reverse mortgages. The big print give it and the small print takes the advantages away. Many reverse mortgages have small print provisions that require you to live in the home and pay property taxes, homeowners association fees and other bills. You could wind up not having a place to live because you did not comply with the fine print. Never get a reverse mortgage without first reading the fine print, going over all the terms and consequences with an experienced attorney and consulting with a financial planner or other financial expert to find out what better options exist. Never trust what sales people say to promote reverse mortgages. Do your homework.

The moral of your complaint is to do your homework and check out the event provider before you contract or pay any money. Obtain references from businesses that are similar to yours and call those business and verify attendance and performance. As Cat Stevens sang, it's a wild wild world out...

Obtain references from businesses that are similar to yours and call those business and verify attendance and performance. As Cat Stevens sang, it's a wild wild world out there. You may have a legal claim against the promoter but I do not know any trial attorney who would take it on a contingent fee basis. You can complain bitterly on social media but that may result in you being sued for libel and spending tens of thousands of dollars to defend and the promoter may in return make social media claims about you. Do your homework next time.
