Yes, I agree with the answers - depends what kind of advice and what type of business you are in.

I find I am in a business where my peers and colleagues are willing to help and give advice. Every Hypnotist and Hypnosis Trainer offers a variation of Hypnosis and attracts the people they attract - so competition is never really a factor. 

In the beginning, I explored every aspect of my profession - reading all I could, watching videos online and going to conventions to meet people, but importantly to listen and learn from those who had established themselves.

The thing to remember these days - there is an endless amount of information. You are not looking for information - you are looking for insight. 

Don't take a course or buy a program because it is there - be definite about what you want to achieve and spend time learning and applying only that which takes your particular business in the best direction

And how do you find out the best direction for your business?

Often by going in all the wrong directions first - and learning to be aware - finally - so you can say ' nope not the way I want to go. Next!'
