I run Sea of Reeds, a small post-production studio offering audio editing, video editing, and original music composition. I work with podcasters, independent filmmakers, documentary creators, and anyone who needs their project to sound and look better than when it came in.
On the audio side, I edit and mix podcast episodes, clean dialogue, balance levels, and handle all the behind-the-scenes work that makes a show sound polished. I have hands-on experience with long-form audio production through ongoing work on the several podcasts.
On the video side, I work with indie and documentary footage — organizing, cutting, and assembling projects with care for pacing and story. I'm earlier in my editing journey than in audio, and I'll tell you that directly: I'm not pitching myself as a seasoned feature editor. What I bring is a genuine understanding of story structure, a strong visual sensibility, and a fast-developing technical skill set in Final Cut Pro, Descript, and CapCut.
I also compose original music. My background is orchestral and cinematic — I work in Logic Pro with a professional-grade string and percussion library — but my scoring sensibility adapts to what a project needs, whether that's something sweeping or something spare and understated.
