About Us
In 1989 Petaluma Coffee Company opened as a small retail coffee roaster, dedicated to raising the spirits of all who enter. Today our product and employees maintain the same dedication to the spirit of great coffee as we did over 25 years ago. From the beginning we have insisted on using only high quality, carefully selected Arabica coffee beans: importing all of our green coffee from the source and custom roasting each batch at our local Petaluma shop.

"14 years ago, I had a crazy idea that I could help out my farm students in Haiti rebuild their coffee industry. I knew very little about coffee and the world had forgotten the key role Haiti played in growing coffee for export. The staff at PT&C took me under their wing and helped me figure out what to do with the tons of green coffee in my basement. Thanks to their help, we have helped bring Haitian coffee to the world stage again, helping thousands of farmers. Thank you Nick, Ashley, Shelia and so many others for believing in my crazy idea and making it possible to help farmers thrive."
