Back in 1996, Scott and Greg Ziegler, two brothers from Queens, NY decided to open a neighborhood pizzeria, Ziegler’s NYPD Pizza, in Scottsdale, Arizona which they grew into a successful chain of restaurants, serving, Scottsdale, Glendale and all metro Phoenix.

In their search to purchase pizza ovens, they ran into the Brescia brothers, Robert and Dino, owners of the infamous “Our Gang Pizza Café” and whose family is originally from Philly. The Ziegler’s bought their first pizza ovens from the Brescia brothers and a friendship formed.

Over the course of twenty years, they have appeared on television together for food shows, eaten at each other’s establishments and maintained a friendship. In the past few years, Robert Brescia decided to leave the restaurant business and venture into Real Estate. Dino stayed in the family restaurant business renaming Our Gang Cafe to IL Posto.
In 2016 Greg Zeigler, his wife Cindy and son Kris bought the place and we are now Ziggy's IL Posto.
