I've been an entrepreneur at heart ever since I fell in love with coffee shops in my early teens, and I have dreamed of owning one ever since. However, as I began my real estate career just as the housing crisis also began, I went back to business school determined to find ways of doing business "differently". In that journey I was introduced to several alternative business models that involved a for-profit approach to social and environmental impact which inspired me to find ways to further support small business owners to think beyond just the financial bottom line. It took several other jobs and eventually corporate burnout for me to take the leap to start my own business to live life more fully and intentionally and to help others do the same. Life is too short!
