Working at a prior video recorded media company, we celebrated 2 weeks early as part of the production. On the actual day, we wrap early so people could be on time for their love one's celebration.

With that experience, if Valentine's Day is that important, yet, avoid business disruption, I would suggest what our company did. Work a little more so Feb 14th can be a shorten day.
