I’m a NC artist, graphic designer, musician, and arts ed advocate. I’ve been an artist most of my life. (Remember the girl who always decorated the bulletins boards in school? That's me.) My BFA is in studio art, with an emphasis in printmaking, from UNC-Chapel Hill. I worked for years at UNC as a graphic and instructional designer. Now I create art for myself. Recent work has been exhibited in Pittsboro, Durham, Raleigh, Chapel Hill, and Wilmington, NC. I served as president of the Chatham Artists Guild and the Chatham Arts Council, and serve on the board of Arts NC, the statewide advocacy organization for the arts. Oh, I’m also an accompanist for local and school choral groups, a gardener, a chorister myself, and a blue-ribbon, prize-winning, pickle maker.
