When I'm seeking art for my collection, I don't look at the name, onl;y the piece. If I like the pieced and it fits in with everything else that I have on the walls, or in storage, I'll buy it. It's really that simple. When she was alive, my wife and I would commission works from artist friends. My house has several pieces from those days. I also have a few pieces that my wife painted. It's more a question f how the overall picture of the interior of my house looks...Oh, and I accent everything with a Seasonally appropriate wreath on the front door. and the knickknacks that we bought throughout or life together and the ornaments that we commissioned from our artist friends. During the Holiday Season, my home is spectacular, with all of the shelf and c9ounterspace adorned with great artistic artifacts, knickknacks and ornaments. I don't even need a tree, but may get one this coming Saturday, to further accent the custom-created ornaments, which were all hand-painted by artists in Greensburg, PA, to my wife and my specs for the holidays.
