"Andrea is just an extraordinary person. To care about helping others and being successful is the only way to do business, in my opinion. We lack folks like Andrea in our society. She goes above-and-beyond for everyone, and her Caring disposition and creativeness is the difference that can help you through a hard time.

Being honest, always...if prospect is a good person and not getting a sales vibe from you, they open up. We and I can then tell them, what you have is great or we point out why it is not. We then leave it there and know our knowledge and expertise will have them come onboard.

Fine to say you’re starting out and have a plan. “Can I run it by you?“ and be totally open to critiqueing.
Most small biz owners started off in your shoes and would love to help. I bet they end up being your first “real” client and refer you in or utilize your services.
This will help tremendously if/after friends and family don’t come through for You. They may mean well and get you an initial client or 2. I don’t like asking them for anything. I’d just let them know what you are doing and if they need or come across someone, “think of me.” Then leave it there. Don’t pester. Most good folks don’t like to be pestered is my theory. I don’t! Treat others as you’d wish to be treated. Golden rule will serve you right. May not make you Rich, but you will enjoy more and have a loyal following who will be referring resources long into the future...
Pro: non one reads anything...NEED to catch a little interest so they read on.
Con: can be seen as "cheesy" depending on industry. I'm not a good salesman (do unto others...I don't like being "sold" anything! Great Business to be in aye?) I am put off personally by a catchy slogan, but they do...

Con: can be seen as "cheesy" depending on industry. I'm not a good salesman (do unto others...I don't like being "sold" anything! Great Business to be in aye?) I am put off personally by a catchy slogan, but they do work. Thus, we do not employ one :-)
