+ 1 otherDr. Jo
TulaSoul is a sanctuary for holistic wellness, founded by Dr. Jo—author, award-winning poet, former clinical psychologist, and women’s empowerment coach. With over 25 years of experience in mental health, Dr. Jo brings a unique, integrative approach that weaves together psychology, yoga, meditation, mindfulness, and energy healing.
At the heart of TulaSoul is the EEE™ Framework — Empowerment, Embodiment, and Enlightenment™—a holistic pathway that supports women in reclaiming their voice, reconnecting with their bodies, and living from a place of self-trust, presence, and purpose.
Dr. Jo’s work supports women in navigating life’s challenges while remembering who they are beneath conditioning, trauma, and expectation. Her approach is authentic, deeply compassionate, and infused with warmth and humor. At TulaSoul, the focus is not on fixing what’s “wrong,” but on awakening what has always been within.
✨ Experience the transformation. Experience TulaSoul. ✨
The EEE™ Framework
Empowerment™
Reclaiming voice, agency, and choice. Empowerment is about honoring personal truth, setting boundaries, and stepping into leadership in one’s own life.
Embodiment™
Returning home to the body as a source of wisdom. Through movement, breath, sensation, and presence, women learn to listen to and trust their bodies again.
Enlightenment™
Integration, meaning, and conscious living. Enlightenment is not transcendence from the human experience, but a deeper relationship with it—rooted in awareness, compassion, and alignment.
Mission
TulaSoul’s mission is to help women reconnect with themselves through holistic healing, embodiment practices, and nervous system-informed support. Through the pillars of Empowerment™, Embodiment™, and Enlightenment™, we guide women in reclaiming their voice, honoring their bodies, and creating lives rooted in authenticity, resilience, and self-trust. TulaSoul is also committed to cultivating women-to-women healing ecosystems grounded in compassion, collaboration, mentorship, and collective care rather than competition or isolation.
Vision
TulaSoul envisions a world where women feel safe to fully inhabit their bodies, express their truth, and lead from a place of compassion, wisdom, and embodied power. We believe healing creates ripple effects — transforming not only individual lives, but relationships, communities, and the collective future of humanity. Our vision includes creating interconnected healing ecosystems where women support, uplift, resource, and empower one another across generations, backgrounds, and life experiences.

Q & A
Q: What problem does TulaSoul solve for clients?
A: TulaSoul goes beyond problem-solving. Through the EEE™ Framework, women are supported in celebrating their unique identity, using their voice with confidence, and fully taking up space in their lives—personally, professionally, and spiritually.
Q: Do clients usually come to you through yoga or coaching first?
A: Both. Some women begin with coaching and remain focused there. Others integrate yoga, meditation, or mindfulness into their sessions. Many combine weekly movement practices with coaching, and some continue with yoga and meditation after completing coaching to deepen their integration. Each journey is personalized and evolves over time.
Q: How much do you share about yourself in sessions?
A: Dr. Jo is not a “blank-slate” coach. She believes in genuine human connection and shares selectively and intentionally when it serves the client. Lived experience, when offered with care, builds trust—and trust is foundational for meaningful, lasting transformation.
✨ TulaSoul is more than wellness—it is a movement of reclamation, healing, and feminine power. ✨
From the age of twelve, Dr. Jo felt a clear calling to understand the human mind and help others heal. This early passion led her to earn a doctorate in Clinical Psychology and build a career devoted to supporting emotional and psychological well-being.
Dr. Jo worked as a Research Coordinator and Therapist at the University of Minnesota’s Department of Child Psychiatry, later serving in outpatient clinical settings before founding her own private practice specializing in trauma and relational healing.
Over time, her work evolved into a more holistic, embodied approach. Today, as a coach and teacher, Dr. Jo guides women in strengthening body and soul, finding their voice—even when it trembles—and confidently taking up physical, emotional, and sacred space.
