I believe that widespread vaccination will have a very positive impact. All of my customers, both residential and commercial are extremely worried and cautious. The hoops we have to jump through are costly and at times quite inconvenient.

That the boring and time consuming things you don't like are just as important as the tasks you love; think building stairs vs. bookkeeping. Make them your strengths and keep learning.

As always, repeat and referral keeps me going. The year has been great and will keep the pace.

Being a contractor, I found this both amusing and disappointing.
A contractor is on the phone with a customer who asks "when will you return"? The reply was, "my ex-wife set my truck on fire". Don't remember the rest, but it says a lot about customer care and honesty.

I grew up in a area filled with craftspeople. I always loved building, architecture, history and people. The folks I knew were always "young". Their passion kept them vibrant. What an example! I love to teach and build. Helping people realize their dreams in a physical realm is very rewarding.

The businesses that I miss the most are all lumber yards. Keens in Parkesburg, Hoffmans in West Chester and Pyles in Avondale. The knowledge of the employees is met by some of the folks at the Home DePot in Parkesburg. Also, West Chester Wallpaper and Paint is sorely missed.

our thanks is an unreserved, open relationship.
There's nothing like being referred or welcomed back into a customers home.
They know and appreciate that we go way beyond the scope of work and have great pride in our work and realationships

You already hit it. I try to get to know a person. What makes you happy? If you did not have to work, what would you do? Do you like being alone? Do you feel comfortable giving and getting criticism? Hopefully positive criticism. Discuss working with others, in all roles.
