About Us

Since 2009, I have been helping individuals and families make informed, confident decisions about their mortgage options. A mortgage is one of the largest financial commitments most people will ever make, and I believe my role is to ensure clients feel supported, educated, and truly represented throughout the process. My work is grounded in the belief that my clients’ goals and their concerns deserve equal care and attention.

I focus on building long-standing relationships by ensuring every client understands the options available to them and how each choice aligns with their long-term financial goals. Education and transparency are at the core of my practice. When clients understand the “why” behind their mortgage structure, they are empowered to make decisions that feel right for them, not just today, but years down the road.

I act as a single point of contact, offering clients my full attention and guidance from application through completion and throughout the entire mortgage term. Mortgages can be complex and lender language can be confusing. By liaising directly with lenders on my clients’ behalf, I ensure details are clearly explained and nothing is overlooked. With patience, perseverance, and creative problem-solving, I enjoy working through even the most challenging files. There is always a solution, or at minimum, a clear and thoughtful plan forward.

Beyond my mortgage practice, I am deeply proud of my long-standing commitment to financial literacy in the Alberni Valley. From 2012 through the onset of COVID, I volunteered my time as a guest lecturer with the EnRICHed Academy, educating teens at Alberni District Secondary School. The program allowed me to break down money concepts in a practical and relatable way—from saving and understanding the true cost of credit to long-term investing. My goal was to help students recognize that knowledge is power, and that informed decisions early in life create greater opportunity and financial confidence for the future.

How We Got Started

I was drawn to the mortgage industry through a desire to help people feel more confident and informed when making big financial decisions. Early in my career, I saw how overwhelming mortgages could feel when conversations were rushed, terminology was unclear, and clients were left unsure if they were making the right choice. I knew there was a better way.

I began my practice with a simple commitment: to slow the process down, listen carefully, and ensure every client truly understood their options. What started as a focus on education and advocacy quickly grew into a long-term, relationship-based business built on trust, transparency, and problem-solving. Over time, that approach has shaped how I work with clients, lenders, and my community—always with the goal of creating clarity, confidence, and solutions that support long-term financial well-being.
