After an interview to determine your healh concerns, healthcare history and physical exam, you lie down on a treatment table. I then cleanse areas with an alcohol swab and insert single-use, sterile tiny needles into the acupuncture points necessary to bring about the desired effects. You rest with needles in place for about 25-30 minutes. Afraid of needles? Acupuncture needles are very thin, bendable as a cat's whisker. Many of my needles will fit inside a typical bevel-edged, hollow, conventional needle.
