99.3 County FM is the only radio station focused on the needs of Prince Edward County.

How We Got Started

It started back in 2014 with a simple but powerful idea: Prince Edward County deserved a voice of its own. A passionate group of local residents noticed our community didn't have a dedicated radio station to share our unique stories, celebrate our incredible local musicians, or keep us connected during major weather events and updates.

As a member-owned, volunteer-driven, not-for-profit radio corporation, we launched CJPE-FM on the airwaves at 99.3 FM.

Today, we are proud to be "The Voice of the County," broadcasting 24/7. From daily morning drives and community event spotlights to essential fundraisers like our annual Radiothon, we are fueled entirely by the energy of our amazing volunteers, members, and generous donors.

We built this station by The County, for The County. Thank you for tuning in, supporting local businesses, and being the best part of our story.
