How We Got Started
I started this law practice after spending ten years as an award winning broadcast journalist in the midwest, Rhode Island and Boston. I like fighting for those who cannot fight themselves. That is what drew me to criminal defense and personal injury cases. I have litigated in every state court in Rhode Island, and in federal courts in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

While courts have been affected by Covid, the use of Zoom and WebEx allows lawyers and judges to still do business. I have had many cases move forward through the use of conferences and hearings. Earlier this year I had several prisoners released because of the pandemic, and this was achieved with Zoom hearings and telephone conferences. This practice is going to continue for at least a few more months.
