"Ms. DeFalco is everything you dream a good realtor should be. She knows the market. She keeps in touch, my number one pet peeve with every other realtor I have spoken with. She helps you to buy property, she’s not trying to sell property. Looking for a classic act realtor, go with Elizabeth. P.S. I think she’s a scratch golfer."

First look to your lease. There may be provisions for this type of situation. If the lease is silent then begin to make your case in the event of eviction litigation. Write to the landlord about your situation. Write to them again if you don't receive a response. Establish a paper trail. Do not negotiate by telephone. If the telephone call is not recorded then there is no evidence it ever occurred. Ask your neighbors what they are doing, and what kind of communications they have had with the landlord. Also, search out in pronouncements from your city government regarding your issue. The cities may have a moratorium on evicting people impacted by the virus. Good fortunes for you!

"There is no failure except failure to serve one's purpose." If you did your homework up front, your plan was sound, and your purpose clear, and your commitment firm, keep working it. Conversely, if you did none of the above, start over; because you are in Chicago trying to get to Wrigley Field with a map of Los Angeles. You'll never get to Wrigley.

In the Air Force we didn't jump into our F-4 Phantom jets and just go attack a target. We gather intelligence, weather, available munitions, and came up with a plan of attack. Then we would attack. Sounds like you need a plan, or a better plan. The movie "Jerry McGuire" is based on the life of Pro Super Agent Leigh Steinberg. I read his story. When he graduated from Law School he would sit at his desk in his one bedroom apartment and make 300 calls a day to professional athletes. Eventually he stuck gold by becoming the agent for the top 10 QB of his time. He had a plan and he worked it. What's your plan? More importantly, how do you define success?
I worked for commissions. Today it's managed money. The most important thing to success is having enough people to talk to. Next it's let them engage on their own schedule.
A young white kid went south to learn how to play the blues. He sought out the greatest blues player of his time. He got an audience with the renowned artist. The young man swiftly informed him that he intended to displace him as the greatest blues player of all time. He ask the blues player "how did you become so great"? The celebrated blues player informed the young white kid "son if you have to ask you'll never make it".
Don't ask others, ask yourself. YOU CAN DO THIS!
