I have hired a data processor (work from home) to enter W-2s, 1099s, 1098s, etc. He can't complete a tax return. (He said he could) If I have to complete the return I do not want to pay him for the whole thing. How much should I pay him?

I would pay $13-$14 an hour for data input only. That being said, I would not hire someone who cannot prepare a tax return to do my input.
