(more) In central North Carolina, we get all kinds of weather and yes we often have clients who don't get the whole "we work outside" issue.  I often have to apologize to clients and explain to them that grass does not green up when it's a long cold spring or that we are sorry but your installation has been pushed back a week because we had back weather two weeks ago that prevented us from working on projects in front of them. Most folks seem to have a short memory when it comes to weather related events.I generally let them vent to me and then explain that we have had those same frustrations and that they are not the only customer that has been affected.  I them assure them that we are working as hard as possible to get to  their project and reassuring them that we appreciate their patience and flexibility.
