About Us
Rita Lyons of Rita Lyons Designs is a lifelong resident of Bergen County, New Jersey. In my own words, I have always had a passion for art. I began taking sketching and painting lessons at ten years old and majored in art in college. My first degree is in graphic arts where I designed women's wear prints. I later studied art education and it was when I was teaching that I developed an interest in interior design. I earnned my BFA in Interior Design in 1993 and have been working in the design field ever since. My "secret sauce" is listening when interviewing clients, understanding their needs, wants, and lifestyle.
