Before I was in Real Estate I sold hot tubs, BBQ's and backyard furniture and clients would ask me for ideas to develop their backyards & renovation ideas in their homes.

I wouldn’t say “the biggest” I would say several biggest misconceptions, and they share the stage holding hands.
1, would be that real estate agents make too much money. Although, most people, other than a real estate agent wouldn’t want; to have their career time, family time, spouse time, me time, inconvenienced regularly by everybody else in the world and do it routinely with a smile on their face and truly enjoy the possible spontaneous chaos that can happen with the intricacies in transacting a home sale until they try it themselves. They may try 1 maybe 2 times in a life time and even then they want to have real estate agent do the paper work, although they don’t like to negotiate against a REALTOR®, there is statistics that show, but today is not about statistics 😉😊! So many although only 10% think they can do it on their own, the statistic is static!
2, with computers we don’t need human beings, I remember this expression when the internet started and social media exploded. It’s an epidemic, all these techies in the world, think they don’t need a person to help them or others through a situation(s), that’s only because there only as good as their wifi connection! Humans are emotional beings, technology can simplify routine however, with technology evolving at an alarming pace, we will always need the human touch
