Lisa K. Boehm - Speaker & Facilitator
As a speaker and facilitator who focuses on hope and human connection, my work is centred around inspiring and empowering individuals to find meaning and purpose in their lives. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where individuals can explore their emotions, share their experiences, and connect with others who are on a similar journey.
Through my engaging and dynamic presentations, I aim to help individuals discover new perspectives and insights that enable them to move forward in their lives with hope and optimism. My facilitation skills enable me to guide group discussions and activities that foster a sense of community and connection, providing individuals with a space where they can feel heard and validated.
The expected outcomes of my work are numerous, but they all centre around empowering individuals to lead fulfilling and purposeful lives. By helping individuals find hope and human connection, I can reduce feelings of isolation, loneliness, and despair. My work also enables individuals to build resilience, cultivate meaningful relationships, and find purpose and meaning in their lives.
Overall, my goal is to make a significant and lasting impact on the lives of those I touch, empowering them to overcome challenges and create fulfilling and meaningful lives.
After my daughter died in 2015, I realized that very few people were able to help us through our grief.
As a cancer care worker I also realized that many healthcare professionals feel awkward and ill-equipped to support patients who are faced with an uncertain future.
Sharing my story and my education as a grief educators has helped other grieving mothers and several departments who work in cancer care.
