ART GALLERY
The 720 Art Gallery is not your typical white -walled-intimidating-little- box that most galleries embody. The space is quite the contrary in fact with its informally awkward walls adorned with technical wiring, pipes, bare brick and other charismatic idiosyncrasies. We work with alternative hanging devices, and ask the artists who show here take in to consideration the uniqueness of the space, and to utilize the seemingly distracting elements of the room to their compositional advantage. The room becomes an atmosphere in which the artist/s must compromise their expectations, and either collaborate or contradict the environment with what they put in it.
