Our business has been drastically impacted. Our business works side by side with events over the United States. Supplying marketing tools ie, Advertising Specialties, brochures, business cards, etc. for the consumer. Last week within 24 hours orders were canceled to the toon of $5000. + because events are being closed. The unfortunate thing is those that have ordered Airline tickets, marketing tools and the sort, spending thousands of $$$ to market their wares, and then to find out their event has been canceled. Our economy is being hit on all sides.
I would love to hear more from Elizabeth Rodgers from Healthy Transformation with Heart, and Epidemiologist on the Coronavirus issues we are all having in the business world. She seems to have valuable information we all could use to help our consumers we deal with on a daily basis.

About 25 years ago, I was having problems with a few clients that stretched me out 90 to 120. My terms were net 30, -2% COD. We all are cash flow poor. So, to connect with my customers and to make changes to my terms and conditions, I sent out a letter to each of my clients thanking them for past and continuing business. Explaining that I am a small business and that the need to change my terms for charge accounts. I went from a net 30 to a net 10 day and dropped the -2% COD. I had a few complaints, guess who? Yes, the companies that were taking me out to the 90 - 120 days. My customers take care of us. My average payment history from my charging customer base is 22 days. Under 30 days, JUST WHAT I WANTED!
It's important to give your customers TOP Notch Quality, Competitive Pricing, AND Premium Service!
My customer Retention is very high, having 100's of customers still with us over 29 years.

I love the "Eat the Frog" idea, Merianne is right. Think about this, what if you email a client with that quote or question you're answering 1st thing in the morning. Thank them for the opportunity to serve them, give them that extra soft sell. Nothing like energizing yourself for the day. You have just prioritized brain for the day. Now, that frog tastes like chicken, LOL all those odd foods taste like chicken!
Now, Have everyone at the work place qualify your incoming calls. Companies that want me to buy there widget is calling. I didn't know I was so qualified for a $100,000.00 loan. Everyone wants to give me money. Have your employees send these calls to your voicemail and you have so much more time. They say when you're interrupted it take 10 to 20 mins. for you to refocus on the job at hand. If you take these types of calls, you're not productive. Say you take 10 odd calls per day, and you spend the minimum 10 mins. per call, that's 1.7 hours. Translate this to the hourly rate your office needs to brake even. Then look at the $$ amount each employee should make for your gross profit. 1.7 hours just cost you $100's of dollars each day. Set aside an hour a day to return calls. Productivity will skyrocket! Just a few ideas. Good luck! I really like frog legs! LOL

For years I have given Goodies in a basket. Depending on the caliber of client I will put 1 or 2 bottles of wine with the understanding they'd like wine before hand. Cheeses, Salami, Chocolates, Crackers, Flavored popcorn, AND a few pens with my company name, Coffee Mugs with my company name. My customers love the baskets to the point that they have asked me were I ordered the baskets from and they also wanted to know if I could give them more pens. Love giving out my pens.

Use the digital for testing your photo's and have them printed process color. You'll have a real printer, face to face to work with. Remember to buy local. You will develop a relationship with them that you will get allot out of. We have many customers that have been coming to us for years wanting there artwork reproduced via scan and placed on note cards.
