I offer valuation services and appraisal review for a broad range of personal property from antiques, fine art, household furnishings and decorative art to gems, period jewellery and watches. I hold dual status as a certified member and accredited member of the International Society of Appraisers. All appraisals are written in compliance with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) that ensures the trust of all the intended appraisal users.

My interest started from working part time in an estate shop where I was exposed to jewellery and antique items. That interest blossomed into a passion for beautiful antique and period jewellery as well as objects of virtue. That put me on the road to becoming a gemmologist where I learned that working on the front lines of the retail jewellery industry was not where my passion lay. As a life long learner the study of appraisal theory and methodology was fascinating and a natural progression from gemmology. Since then I have continued to broaden my knowledge base into other areas such a specialist appraiser of gems & jewellery as well as a generalist appraiser of residential contents. I enjoy meeting new clients and hearing the background stories about their valuables and being able to sharing my research with them to fill the gaps in their family histories.
