A mixed-media artist working in Richmond, BC, Jennifer is inspired by the hunt for unexpected beauty in the everyday and the challenge of expanding the vocabulary and means with which to express it. An elected member of both the Society of Canadian Artists and an Associate of the Federation of Canadian Artists, she has been showing in professional galleries for 25 years and her work is collected internationally. Raised in a family of professional artists in Victoria, Jennifer’s creative capital has been refined by studies in art history, fine art and design at various institutions, including the University of Victoria, the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, and the British Columbia Institute of Technology, amongst others. Her award-winning work reveals a fascination with capturing the atmosphere and character of her subject. Jennifer thrives on continual exploration of the physical and intellectual creative process, and the opportunity to share her experience through painting, photography, teaching, workshops and active support of the Arts in the community.

She is currently represented by The Avenue Gallery in Oak Bay Village, Victoria and Kube Gallery in Fort Langley.

Raised in a family of professional artists, Jennifer started showing in galleries after a painting tour hosted by her father, to the former Soviet Union in 1994.
