The Council of Industries is an advocate for businesses in the San Francisco Bay Area, specifically in West Contra Costa County, which is a vital regional hub of industry and commerce. The COI supports job growth and economic development, and operates as a common voice to express the interests and concerns of small businesses, start-ups, entrepreneurs, and established commercial enterprises. Over 50 years ago the manufacturing and port businesses in West Contra Costa County created a business trade organization that would provide networking opportunities and a voice for the business community.
