How We Got Started
Bob owner and operator of the 5 Star cleaning started as a family-owned and operated business from a rug and carpet cleaning company. After years of the great rug and carpet cleaning services in Toronto, there was a strong demand in the community to start to expand the cleaning services and also add 24/7 Flood and water damage restoration services. Our teams are all professional, insured, certified, has WSIB, and years of a great experience. Now, with over 28years of experience, we provide ONE STOP SOLUTION to all 24/7 water damage restoration, rug, carpet, upholstery, house, office, and post-renovation cleaning in the GTA in both residential and commercial areas. Actually, once happened to us with carpet cleaning for a private furniture store that he said their business is very slow, if he could pay the carpet cleaning with choosing a brand new sofa pf my choice, and I agreed in that case. I got my office a great sofa. It was a win win situation.

You have to have a system in place for any services you provide. For example, our house, office and post renovation cleaning is done , our office charges the customer authorized credit cards on file. Other services, our technician charge the customer at job site based on the agreement either...

Other services, our technician charge the customer at job site based on the agreement either full amount or partially where by the end of job gets paid fully,. For some business, we accept Cheque which takes about a month to get a cheque by mail, so we do not have to chase after customer for payment. I hope that helps.
We had couple of these kinds of request recently, we have our lowest min. 3 hours charge, they can request to clean anything during this 3 hours time, that worked just fine for both sides.

I found word of mouth and referral along with customer reviews are the most ways I had my customers so far than paying for advertising. Of course all goes back on how good and professional services you provide to get those referrals and reviews.
