Prior to becoming a REALTOR®, Till created and then sold a successful business in NYC proving his entrepreneurial leadership. A Hotelier by trade, Till served as Assistant General Manager at the Regency Hotel in NYC, flagship of the Loews Hotel Group, where constant problem solving, follow-through and negotiation skills were required.

Prior to entering real estate, Lisa honed her marketing and communication skills as a successful book publicist in New York City. Lisa has been an active member of the community since moving to Ridgewood from New York City in 1994. She is currently the incoming President of the Ridgewood A.M. Rotary Club and the Vice President of the Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce. Lisa enjoys teaching adult education classes on real-estate related topics at the Ridgewood Community School. She founded the influential "Ridgewood Moms and Dads" Facebook Group with over 6,000 members. She served as co-Founder, President and Vice President of the Parent Association of The Village School. She received her B.A. from Columbia University.

I like working with both buyers and sellers. Buyers are more time consuming, but it's enjoyable to get to know your clients and see their happiness and excitement when they buy a new home. I agree with many of the other answers: low inventory and multiple offers. In addition, in Northern NJ, many of our entry level buyers who may only be able to afford a fixer-upper, are competing with investors/flippers with cash. One week before, send a text reminder. At the event, you have an opportunity for face-to-face contact. After the event, send a hand-written note thanking them for coming. That's five opportunities to "touch" your client for one event!
