How We Got Started

I started this business right after High School when I was in College. I realized that most of my college friends did not know how to type and struggled with doing their Term Papers. I took Typing and Businesses Classes in High School so, I felt there was a need to help people. Back then, there were no computers like there is today so they were happy to have me type their Term Papers and Dissertations...my business grew from there.

Although I continued to work regular jobs for other people, I never gave up and in 1997, I changed the name from Professional Typing Services to Curry Creations and added a lot of other skills that I taught myself along the way. I was introduced to Windows in 1993 and since then, I have become an advanced user of Computers and Microsoft Office, so much so, that I have the ability now to train other people who were not accustomed to using computers.

I'm not sure why this question was sent to me because I have no clue about house painting but for a 1,000 foot house I would say that is kind of small.  If I were the painter, I would charge $500.00.  To me, that should cover it but I am not an expert in house painting.  (more) I'm not sure why this question was sent to me because I have no clue about house painting but for a 1,000 foot house I would say that is kind of small.  If I were the painter, I would charge $500.00.  To me, that should cover it but I am not an expert in house painting.

I don't think you need to put part-time in your title.  If you are the CFO just leave it as is.  When people contact you for work, you can discuss your availability at that time.   (more) I don't think you need to put part-time in your title.  If you are the CFO just leave it as is.  When people contact you for work, you can discuss your availability at that time.

Being certified will give them the confidence that they can be trainers, work in IT, or start their own business. Here is a resource: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/learning/office-certification.aspx   So once they have mastered Microsoft Office, they can go anywhere.  Currently, I work part-time for a company as a Quality Improvement Officer.  Here is a resource for certifications which are not required to do this job. https://asq.org/cert/quality-improvement-associate http://www.amcertinst.org/certifications/cqip.php I also specialize in PowerPoint presentations - https://www.newhorizons.com/courses-and-certifications/microsoft-office/powerpoint  Certifications in Graphic Design can lead to very rewarding careers or help business owners to gain a step above the competition. https://www.rasmussen.edu/degrees/design/blog/tech-skills-certifications-for-graphic-designers/
