About me: My name is Kira McCall, and I have recently opened a new storefront bakery in the Roaring Spring Plaza, in Roaring Spring, Pa. Maddie Cakes started out of my home, where I was a one woman show for a few years, and as I watched my business (hobby) grow, I felt that it was time to expand - leading to the plaza. I specialize in gourmet cupcakes and custom cakes. My background is in the fine arts, and I have a Master's Degree in Art Therapy and Counseling. I've always had a passion for baking and cooking (I get it from my momma!), and especially decorating. I started Maddie Cakes shortly after my daughter was born. Maddie Cakes got it's name from my daughter Madison (she will be turning 4 this summer!), because I would sing "Maddie Cake, Maddie Cake" instead of "Patty Cake, Patty Cake." It all just made sense from there on out!

In terms of cakes and cupcakes: I currently have over 40 flavors of gourmet cupcakes, and I am always coming up with new flavors and adding to the list! I prefer to bake everything from scratch (including frostings, fillings, toppings, and most garnishes). Every cake is a work of art, and delicious too! I am skilled in fondant covered cakes, flower making, edible sculptures and figures, hand painting, and also sculpted 3-dimensional cakes.

On a budget? I will do my best to come up with a custom order to suit your needs!
