Maekonect is meant to be a network of moderate connectors and contributors who wish to encourage and facilitate people to come together and establish common ground while trying to face issues plaguing our country, cities, families, and ourselves. Right now as it is, it's for promoting spaces where such conversations can happen, encouraging people to exist, persist, and resist the call to that dark night.

Last year, Maekonect was brought from a virtual space to a real world idea from my second hospitalization for mania. My "disorder" has come to show me that society as I knew it was "out of order," not me. From my minds second frantic race to find solutions to the crisis facing my friends and family, Maekonect started to form. Is actively forming.
