Personal service is gone like it used to be also at the small town hardware.

Most our business is from word of mouth from pervious clients. When we do a job, we always strive to give more than the client expects. With that said, we have fixed stuff or did more than they expected for each client. We strive to go above expectations for all our clients, so we have not had to offer "deals" or work on a client just to get a job. Trust, quality and experience usually trumps a deal. Hate to have to say this and I apologize if it ofends anyone, more than I'd like to admit, we have fixed work done by others who offered a "deal" or had to work on a client to get a job. Normally it costs the client more to fix the new issues than if they didn't buy into the "deal" (Last issue was a damaged custom $1,200 mahogany front door was the last "deal" we helped to fix. Second issue was the one who gave the client the "deal" also was not insured). Other trades may have a place for deals or working on clients for work. This is just our experience.

We went with Farm Bureau Insurance. They had a really good price and have been on top of any issues we have had.  (more) We went with Farm Bureau Insurance. They had a really good price and have been on top of any issues we have had.

We pressure wash many homes, decks, barns or businesses each week and take care around windows, doors or any spots of concern for water to penetrate into the house. We also treat brick or stone. We use a 1/3 ratio of water, bleach and JoMax cleaner in a bucket and hand scrub the buildings first... We also treat brick or stone. We use a 1/3 ratio of water, bleach and JoMax cleaner in a bucket and hand scrub the buildings first before actually pressure washing which allows us to not have to apply as much pressure (more of a wash and hit a few spots more that need it) then we actually use a backpack blower to dry it quicker. Haven't had a single issue to date with return of mildew. We give a 1 year warranty that mildew won't return or we'll go out to fix the issue (have not had to yet).

If there is something our client is asking for and we don't do that service or limited experience, we will be honest and let them know but also we will ask those who we partner with for help so the client is satisfied with nothing but the best service they deserve and we continue to learn.... Everyone should put their pride away if there is anything they don't know. It isn't bad to ask for help from another company or co-worker. Each job can be used as a learning experience if its beyond your skills. Even our crew, if any of them let us know that something is beyond them then we will put in the time to allow them to watch and learn how to do the project right.

Not at all. An area will prosper if all members are doing well. We will partner with local companies for services we don't offer so all can benefit. Biggest issue we would say is having a good work ethic. It's few and far between that you find people who work hard, listen to direction, have ideas, love to learn, don't think they're too good to do certain jobs, and can put in the hours on time.  (more) Biggest issue we would say is having a good work ethic.
