How We Got Started
Tanya has been doing what she loves to do for the past twenty years and is very lucky to be able to do that. Her passion shows forth in her imagery. She was in Marin for many years and grew her business there. Now that she is in Rohnert Park, it's a brand new life!

This year has been challenging, but I am grateful for the blessings that I have been experiencing, nonetheless. I am thankful for the gift of life, I am thankful for having the time to care for my body that is more healthy than ever due to my daily Barre exercises and healthy eating, I am thankful for being blessed with living in a harmonious household, and I am thankful for the joy in my heart (all this in spite of the pandemic and tumult in our country and the entire planet!).

As a professional photographer, I stick to my Canon. I know the iPhone is being used by many shooters, but I’m just not into the latest hype. However, my daughter, who is also a photographer, prefers her iPhone to her Canon. She does fabulous work. I say, more power to her!

All in all, I have been keeping myself above water and really enjoying the peace and quiet. May all beings be peaceful.
No, when a client comes to me for photos, I do not educate them about photography and I don't upsell them. Instead, I educate them into "being themselves" in front of the camera, which is not a given, as most people are self-conscious when they are being photographed. It's a rare being who feels...

It's a rare being who feels self-confident. I encourage them to relax and have fun and enjoy the process. So yes, I guess I educate people!

The only way to find out is by asking them specifically. “Did you find me by doing a search on Google or on Yelp?” You have to lead the question so they answer correctly, otherwise they will answer Google and that won’t tell you anything specific. That’s what I do.
