I began my training baking in my Grandmother's kitchen at the tender age of 11 in Aberdeen, Mississippi. Through baking she taught me many life lessons. Such as, don't be stingy with the ingredients (be generous), don't waste anything (be creative), learn how to put love into every step (be caring) and always use quality ingredients (always give your best).
The life lessons my Grandmother taught me are some of the building blocks that Have Another Slice is founded on.
We cater to people who are searching for authentic desserts. There are some companies that produce desserts with substandard ingredients, leaving the customer feeling like something is missing. Have Another Slice fills that void. Which results in amazing authentic desserts that have a homemade taste.
This produces a feel good experience that creates or recall fond memories with family and friends.
Have Another Slice pop-up bakery is a result of a vow made when my Mom was forced to close the doors to her successful catering business due to an unexpected illness. It has always been a dream among the women in my family to one day start and maintain a successful food business. An opportunity was created and Have Another Slice was established in October, 2018.
The same standards my Mom had for her business is the same for Have Another Slice Bakery. To always give and present your best.
