About Us

A nationally recognized estate planning and Elder Law firm, we help individuals, families and business owners plan for the future and navigate through the highly technical world of estate planning, dealing with complex and sometimes emotionally difficult issues. Successful results are achieved by integrating the areas of estate tax, wealth preservation and business succession planning, Elder Law, Medicaid planning, estate administration, retirement benefits planning, and planning for closely held businesses and professional practices.
The cornerstone of our success is the nature of the relationship we maintain with each of our clients, who are treated with sensitivity and respect for their individual needs and objectives. I concentrate in Trusts& Estates, Probate, Elder Law and Special Needs Planning. I have a printed flat fee schedule (which I may adjust based on the matter). I quote the full fee at the first meeting (no charge for postage, photocopies and such, except FedEx). I get a 50% retainer and the balance due the earlier of signing the documents or 30 days after the drafts are sent. The fee for a Medicaid application is payable in full when we are retained. I don't want to get involved with billing for phone calls, emails and the like.Designing a tax plan is hourly, but the documents are flat fees. For estate administration, I give the client a choice of time, flat fee or percentageThe bottom line, I want to know I am not getting paid at the first meeting, not the last meeting.
