Ray CPA, P.C. provides tax and accounting services throughout Texas, although we have clients and welcome business from several states throughout the U.S. The company began as Ray Tax Services, LLC in 2003. Mr. Ray is a licensed Texas Certified Public Accountant, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and a Certified Quick Books Pro Advisor.

We are dedicated to bringing our clients advanced, state of the art financial solutions, as evidenced by our commitment to Information Technology. Mr. Ray is also a licensed CITP. The AICPA’s Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) Credential is the premier credential for CPAs specializing in IT, business system reporting, internal controls, fraud considerations and assessment of risk. CPA.CITPs are recognized for their unique abilities to provide business insight by leveraging their expertise in information relationships and supporting technologies. The CITP designation is officially sponsored by and facilitated by staff of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), the national professional organization for all certified public accountants (CPAs).

Mr. Ray has attained a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Science, both with a major in accounting and information systems. He graduated cum laude, in the top fifteen percent of his class, while working full time in the restaurant industry. Mr. Ray has seven years of experience working as an analyst in a world class tax and accounting software development firm and over ten years of experience in tax and accounting. Industries he has represented include Restaurant and Hospitality, Legal, Medical, Manufacturing, Retail, Construction, Real Estate, Technology, Financial Services, Insurance, Energy, Estate/Gift, and Non-Profit. Mr. Ray has prepared campaign finance reports for several of the top ranking officeholders throughout the Texas statewide political arena. His international experience includes mergers and acquisitions, controlled foreign corporations, and reporting under International Financial Reporting Standards.

We strive to bring our clients world class service by adhering to the principles of lifelong learning. Mr. Ray is currently in the process of attaining the "Personal Financial Specialist" credential. The AICPA’s Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation is granted exclusively to CPAs with the powerful combination of extensive tax expertise and a comprehensive knowledge of financial planning, including estate, retirement, investments and insurance.

Vinh Trieu, J.D. is our Marketing Director. He comes to Ray CPA with almost a decade of experience in the legal field. Mr. Trieu obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from Marshall College of Law in 2003 and has a Bachelor of Arts degree graduating with honors from Western Michigan University. Mr. Trieu has worked for small and mid-size law firms, as well as a couple Fortune 100 companies.
