Starbucks is not selling franchises, so in that respect, it is much more a global company than a local company.  I am not a fan of Starbucks, although I have bought their Frappuccino at Sam's Club, ironically at a price much cheaper than they sell them.      (more) Starbucks is not selling franchises, so in that respect, it is much more a global company than a local company.  I am not a fan of Starbucks, although I have bought their Frappuccino at Sam's Club, ironically at a price much cheaper than they sell them.

That's great advise but some reviews are full of half truths and lies.  I usually watch the tapes before I reply.  If you can speak to someone in person, you can be frank, cut through the irrelevant,  and get to the real problem.    On social media it is much harder. Next, to reiterate the main points, I use the 3 principals of Journalism. (1)  Tell them what you're going to tell them. (2) Tell it to them. (3) Then tell them what you told them. I outline all the facts, and I write a first draft. Then, I insert some good quotes or jokes. I usually wait until the next day to look at it again with fresh eyes. I review the draft, and I add anything I left out and rearrange the paragraphs as necessary. Finally, I ensure that my facts and my conclusion agree and are clear. Ý

For example, one customer complained that his daughter cam in with a lap dog that never left her lap, and they were asked to leave.  I gave him a few chances to amend his story telling him I would post the video of the dog running around the restaurant in violation of health codes.  My staff politely asked them if they would move to the patio,
