Rushwood Barn (formerly Rochester Wedding Barn) is located in Rush, New York and offers a private, thoughtfully laid-out setting for weddings and other gatherings.

Rushwood Barn was raised in 1907 during a traditional barn-raising, built by members of the local community for agricultural use.

For decades, it functioned as a working barn. As farming needs changed, the structure remained, preserved rather than replaced, and eventually transitioned into an event space.

The building itself sets the tone. Original timbers, scale, and layout create an atmosphere that doesn’t need to be manufactured or heavily styled. The space carries its own character, which is why many events here require less added décor than newer venues built to imitate this look.
